My wife and I enjoyed your concert in Cadillac this evening immensely. We look forward to seeing you again in Brown Town Hall in January. The level of talent in your band is extraordinary and I'm sure you'll do well.
Robert
Thanks for a wonderful concert on Saturday night...I heard you guys pick at Cooper’s Glen in Kalamazoo and told my best friend what a great band you were and how much I enjoyed your performance- she, in turn, took me to Cadillac for the night - enjoying your music again was my birthday present! Thanks - it was great - you guys are amazing musicians...the gift from Robin was better than another candle or pair of earrings...
We will certainly be here in Kalamazoo to hear you again (in February) and will scoop up as many bluegrass fans as we can...
We are your Kalamazoo fan club!
peace to you all,
Donna
p.s. driving home Sunday to Kalamazoo we made up a couple of bumper stickers...
Got Mograss? I'm not a hillbilly - I'm Appalachian American...
Letter to the Editor, Kalamazoo Gazette - Reviewer shouldn’t have ignored group
Having spent 12 enjoyable hours at Cooper’s Glen Music Festival on August 26, I feel the review of the festival by Mark Wedel totally ignored a wonderful new group who really deserves everyone’s attention. The group, Detour, was the first group on Saturday to get a standing ovation and was clled back for an encore. Also while Wedel mentioned everyone else who was called up to play with John McEun at the end of the day, he failed to metion Jeff Rose from Detour who played mandolin with McEuen and the group. When a group Like Detour, made up of Jeff Rose, Scott Zylstra, Zak Bunce, and Mike Sumner, cause as much excitement as they did with their first appearance at the festival, I feel they should get some credit in print for their music.
Jacqueline
”I would go out of my way to see this band!“
Jim
